About WhatsDo
We build the layer where an AI recommendation becomes a real appointment
WHATS DO CORP is a San Francisco company connecting external AI agents to the booking systems local service businesses already run.
Where we are
Status checked 22 July 2026
Closed beta. Square Appointments is the supported backend, availability can be read there today, and the booking write runs against a merchant we control. One other system is in verification.
- Supported
- Square Appointments, availability live
- In closed beta
- the booking write, against a controlled merchant
- In verification
- one other booking system
- In development
- cancellation, agent-initiated payment and the public MCP connector
The merchant-side work that closes the gap
Agents decide what a person should do next and cannot execute it in the physical world. That work is authorization, data verification and a write path into the system the business already uses.
- Availability, booking and payments as one action layer for agents.
- Supply side first: businesses stay on their own systems.
- Starting vertical: appointment-based services such as massage, spa and wellness studios.
Evidence before announcement.
A capability counts once a controlled booking has been written, matched against the provider record, retried without duplicates and failed cleanly on purpose. Until then it is labelled in progress, including on our own marketing pages.
- Manual work is labelled manual and never counted as automation.
- No consumer marketplace and no resale of merchant clients.

Questions we get
Are you hiring merchants for the beta?+
Yes, for appointment-based businesses on Square Appointments. Request a supported-system review and we will tell you honestly whether your setup works today.
Do you work with agent developers directly?+
Yes. API access is granted per developer during the closed beta so every integration has a named contact on both sides.
