What WhatsDo is and where it sits in your stack.

What exactly does WhatsDo do?+
It connects a business booking system to external AI agents, so an agent can read verified services and availability and create a confirmed appointment in the business's own provider account. The read is live today and the write runs in closed beta against a controlled merchant.
Is there an embeddable booking widget?+
No. There is no shipped widget. Businesses connect through the provider authorization flow.
How is WhatsDo different from Stripe or a booking platform?+
Stripe moves money. A booking platform runs one vertical inside its own funnel. WhatsDo makes an existing merchant system callable by external agents and writes the booking back into it.
What does it cost?+
We are in closed beta and agree commercial terms with each business and each developer directly before going live.

Which systems are supported today?+
Square Appointments. One other system is in verification. Everything else is on request while its connector is built.
Do I need to migrate my booking software?+
No. WhatsDo connects on top of the account you already use, and the connection is reversible.
Is there a public MCP connector for ChatGPT or Claude?+
Not yet. The MCP connector is being finished and there is no public install path. API access during the closed beta is granted per developer.
What happens if my system is not supported?+
Register your interest. For some requests the team can complete a booking manually, which takes minutes rather than seconds and is reported separately from automated bookings.
Security and data
Authorization runs server side and the scope stays as narrow as the task allows.
- Provider authorization uses server-side OAuth redirects. No provider key reaches the browser.
- Agents receive availability and service data, not your client records.
- You can revoke the authorization from your provider account at any time.
What data do external agents see?+
Services, durations, prices, currency, timezone and open slots for the services you expose. Client records are not shared with agents.
How do I reach a human?+

Reliability
The rules that decide whether a booking counts as a success.
- No write happens without one explicit confirmation of the exact slot.
- A retry of the same request returns the existing booking and creates no duplicate.
- Failures return a stable code and a recovery path.
- Any step completed by a human is labelled manual and excluded from automated success.
Can an agent cancel or reschedule?+
Not yet. That path is in development. Today an agent reads availability, and creating a booking runs on the closed-beta write.
Can an agent pay for the appointment?+
Agent-initiated payment is part of the intended action layer and is not live. Payment happens through your normal provider flow.
